Low Foaming Surfactant

It is a liquid, water-soluble nonionic surfactant and is supplied as 100% active. As a wetting agent, it is particularly suitable for emulsion paint color paste preparation and other aqueous color systems. It has good surface activity, as evidenced by a reduction in the surface tension of water. It is particularly effective compared to other commonly used surfactants, especially at low concentrations. It can be used in pigment wetting agent, coating and paint, machine washable dishwashing detergent, rinsing aid, metal cleaning agent, pulp and paper, textile processing and other industries in the process of emulsion paint preparation, it can accelerate the wetting process of the surface of pigment and filler, improve the dispersion efficiency, so that the performance of the dispersant can be fully demonstrated, and achieve the maximum efficiency under the minimum amount of dispersing agent, wetting agent and the two.

Usage:

1、It has excellent wettability for all kinds of pigments and fillers, and improves the dispersion performance of all kinds of dispersants.

2、It can well solve the phenomenon of coating returning to roughness, maintain the state of coating manufacture after maturing, and improve the leveling performance.3、Good color spreading, it can effectively reduce the floating color of the system, the phenomenon of blossom, and increase the gloss.4、It has excellent anti-freezing and solubility performance, and it is a liquid under the storage of -5℃ or above, and it can play a good wettability performance in the following 70℃.5、It has good low-foaming performance, it can effectively improve the wettability performance when used together with other kinds of dispersing agents. 5, excellent low-foaming performance, with other types of dispersants used together, can effectively reduce the viscosity of the system. 6, suitable for a variety of inorganic and organic difficult to disperse system; in the color can eliminate the phenomenon of floating white. Suggested usage: Suggested dosage (wt%, in terms of pigment): 0.1~0.4% for inorganic powder, 0.3~0.5% for organic powder. When using, first add wetting agent, dispersant and defoamer into water to dissolve and then add all kinds of powders, and then disperse and sanding can be done; when storing, it will become turbid when encountering anion, but its performance is less affected by the PH value.

Technical guidance

Manufacture of latex paint: Surfactant is a general-purpose wetting agent for the manufacture of latex paint. It benefits most from its low foaming properties at higher temperatures. Such temperatures are often reached during high speed color dispersion. It improves the gloss of latex paints.

In most paints, a dosage of 0.1-0.3% surfactant is sufficient. Surfactants are used as wetting agents together with color dispersants. This mixture exhibits synergistic effects with maximum efficiency at minimum dosage. Excessive amounts of surfactants, or any other wetting agents, should be avoided to improve the water resistance of the paint film.
